Architecture with character
We believe that good architecture begins with listening well. To the client's wishes, to the location, and to the available possibilities. From that foundation, we design spaces that are right: in appearance, function, and environment.
Our architect
Rindert Gerritsma has been an architect and co-face of Hollands Kroon Architectuur since 2025. Prior to that, he was the owner and architect of ZILT Architects (formerly LUX Architects).
Part of the portfolio on this website consists of projects that Rindert designed and realized through ZILT Architecten. These projects form part of his personal portfolio and provide an insight into his experience and work as an architect.
Expertise
An optimal connection with the surroundings, sustainable materials, and an eye for detail are always central. From idea to realization, HKA creates added value for every indoor and outdoor space. With expertise in: private residences, urban planning, distinctive buildings, renovation & transformation, residential construction, and non-residential.
Craft
Designing starts with finding the right shape. We see giving shape to space as the core of our work. Designing also has a craft character for us. We sketch by hand and work out designs on the drawing board. Of course, we combine this with the latest techniques. We also work out our plans digitally, in both 2D and 3D.
Our approach
HKA's designs are functional, aesthetic, and feasible. An optimal connection with the environment, sustainable materials, and an eye for detail are always central to their work.
