SAS and IRG/HKA part of Prommenz
It is official! Prommenz and Staalbouwkundig Adviesbureau Schagen BV (SAS) are joining forces! Engineering firm Rijnders & De Groot BV (IRG, now Hollands Kroon Architectuur), which was acquired by SAS in 2024, will also become part of this collaboration.
Trust in each other's strength and vision for the future forms the basis of this collaboration. Prommenz and SAS have shared the same roof on the Harmenkaag in Schagen for years. What started as neighbors has grown into a structural partnership.
Prommenz and SAS regularly interact on the work floor and know how to find and reinforce each other. Prommenz as a specialist in spatial issues and the restructuring of public space, SAS as an expert in (steel) architectural and structural advice. SAS is proficient in structural design and calculations, architectural drafting, workshop drawings, and steel structures. Prommenz regularly engages its structural and architectural expertise for infrastructure projects, such as calculating and designing culverts and bridges, sheet piling, and revetments. Conversely, Prommenz regularly carries out surveying and scanning work for 'the neighbors'.
In 2024, SAS was supplemented by the structural advisory and design services of engineering firm Rijnders en De Groot (IRG/HKA) from Anna Paulowna. In Prommenz, Heine Lageveen, owner of SAS and IRG/HKA, has found the right partner to take the next steps with his organization. In addition to common ground in the field, the companies also share many similarities in core values and corporate culture, such as a no-nonsense mentality, craftsmanship, and a personal approach. The expertise of SAS and IRG/HKA forms a valuable addition to Prommenz's services, but the collaboration also yields practical benefits. SAS and IRG/HKA will continue to operate under their own names but are now part of Prommenz. Nothing changes for customers, who can count on the same quality and service they have come to expect from both partners. The collaboration will be expanded step by step over the coming years.
